Why Teacher Appreciation Week is the MOST neglected holiday(week) of all time.

You guys really wanna know how I found out about Teacher Appreciation Week? Okay, I’ll tell y’all: GOOGLE. Yep, you guys are probably freaking out about what I just said, but it’s true. Not even the teachers are saying anything about it, now that’s  just sad.

I feel you fam . . .

It’s like the teachers are ashamed for the holiday about THEM. C’mon now, I know there are some severely underpaid teachers out there, but be proud of your job. I mean, you work there 5 days a week, sometimes even 6 days.

That’s basically a teacher’s schedule for a year!

I remember from junior high when they almost required you to bring something for your teachers, but now these days they don’t CARE .  It’s time for us to turn that around NOW!!!

Bring back the posters, bring back the posters!!!

I understand we all have to read online, but I have a task for you fans. Think of a thoughtful, creative gift you can give to your teacher today or some other  day  this week. It doesn’t have to be that creative. Like for example, maybe just get him/her a McDonald’s breakfast for the morning, or a homecooked meal for lunch. Matter of fact we have to be more appreciative than ever! We have crazy stuff like this happening all over the world:

I have a question for you guys, what if there were no teachers?  Just think about it. If there were no teachers, schools would have to close, people wouldn’t be able to get jobs because in some jobs, you require a college education. Looking at all this, life would be very hard. As I said in my last post I’m going to leave you guys with a quote to think about:

“Of all the hard jobs around, the hardest is being a good teacher.”

Maggie Gallagher

There are some teachers who have to deal with a whole bunch of CRAP in their classes. Take inner city schools for example, those schools deal with fights, arguments , and other WILD stuff out there. Those teachers have to be truly passionate about their job if they deal with that constantly.

Weak as heck, but NOT ALLOWED.

Don’t wait for someone else to start  celebrating the holiday.
