“Formula for success: rise early, work hard, strike oil.”
-J. Paul Getty
There are 2 types of people in the world : those who wake up early and sleep early, and those who sleep really late, and wake up late .
As you can see, I’m the one who wakes up early and sleep early.
I’m in high school, and when I hear people talk about how late they slept last night, I just laugh because:
The times they sometimes say is way too late.
Like for example I would hear someone talk about how they sleep at 2 in the morning and wake up 5 hours later.
Get enough sleep, and wake up early!
It has been scientifically proven that waking up early results in better mental health.
So, let’s get started, shall we?
1. It maximizes time for your day.
We all have 24 hours in a day. No matter how successful or broke you are, we have the same amount of time to use. The main reason successful people are so successful is because they know how to properly use their time.
For example, if you are a busy person, but want to do other things, then wake up early.
It will give you plenty of time to do what you gotta do before you go to work.
2. You can enjoy nature
Personally, the number one reason why I wake up early is because of the nature.
You get to hear the birds chirping, and see the beauty of a landscape right before your eyes…
It’s an affirmation that reminds me how beautiful our world is.
So, for those who absolutely love nature, get up at an early time!
3. It’s Peaceful and Quiet
While enjoying the nature, you can also enjoy the presence of no moving cars or vehicles.
It’s just you and nature.
That is a living testimony on how hard it really is for us to wake up early in the mornings.
You can meditate, read, or just take a walk because it is always quiet in the mornings.
And it will stay that way.
4. Perfect Exercise Time
The main reason why it’s a perfect exercise time is because of reason #3 – it’s peaceful and quiet.
Another good time to exercise is in the evenings, but…
Who works out in the evenings?
I don’t know, but tell them that the mornings are much better because no one bothers you and you get to see the sun while it’s still cool.
5. It increases positivity
While sitting alone actively hearing the birds chirping, you get to experience an overwhelming feeling of positivity.
You get to appreciate the birds, sky, and whatever else you find beautiful in the mornings.
It just makes you feel grateful for the day, which is a powerful aspect of being positive.
Along with the accompanying fact that you can get more done with waking up early, I now understand why early risers are so positive.
I got you guys a gift – homework.
The assignment for you guys is to try waking up early for 7 days – IN A ROW.
I know it’s going to be tough and challenging, but it will show me how committed you guys truly are for your success.
Fortunately for you guys, it does NOT have a due date…
But, it still needs to be done.
I will know when you’ve done it by leaving me a comment below…
So… get started!
What I mean by waking up early, I don’t mean by making drastic changes.
You can, but it will be hard to keep up with.
So, I would recommend taking baby steps.
Like for example, set your alarm 30 minutes earlier or 45 minutes earlier each day.
That way it won’t be that hard.
” It is well to be up before daybreak, for such habits contribute to health, wealth, and wisdom.”
Remember: Take ACTION on it!
