3 important things I’ve learned about life…so far.

For those who have more life experience than I do, what are your life philosophies?

Answer by leaving me a comment below…

I’m only 17 years old.

Yeah! I’m still a kid.

I officially have less than a year to become a legal adult.

And so far, I have learned many valuable things about life.

But, I still have a LOT to learn.

The list for me has been tough, but I’m going to narrow it down to 3 things life has taught me.

  • Life goes on

road straight

I learned this as a lesson when my grandfather passed away a couple years ago.

I was devastated.

I really didn’t know my grandfather as much as my mom and dad did, but I had a clear clue about who he was as a person.

Matter of fact, I really don’t remember meeting him, but I know that I have met him because there were always pictures of us two.

I was VERY small when I met him.

He died in his 80’s… I think.

That situation taught me that things are going to happen, but life doesn’t care…

It’s just going to keep going and going.

Until, the end of time.😐

Even if you’re at the worst of times, life is just going to continue until the day you die.

So for those who didn’t know that about life – REMEMBER THIS!

  • There are going to be tough times.

    It happens to everyone.

Let’s face it, there are going to be times when life is going to trip you over and you fall.

But, that’s the test of life.

Life is going to test you to see if you were the right person they chose…

To live.

For any Rocky fans, here is a special quote for you guys:

“It ain’t about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

Life moves forward, why not you?

You’re going to experience failure, rejection, and ridicule at some point in your life, and it’s up to you on how you’re going to deal with it.

Let me ask you a question.

How do YOU want to live your life?

Hopefully… not like this.

  • You never know…

It’s just facts guys.

Sad but true.

You never will know that day when it could be all over for you.

It could be your job, relationship, or your life.

So that’s why I constantly stress why you should live life to the fullest.

If you’re doing nothing right now, do something that you would want to do.

Visit a place you have never been before, or start that business you always wanted to start.

In order to make this have an effect on you, let me ask you a thought-provoking question:

“If  you were on your death bed right now, what would be your biggest accomplishments and regrets?”

Then, your life would flash right before your eyes…

There is this one motivational speech by the great Steve Jobs that moved me to talk about this topic…

It was so good that I had to tell you a quote from it:

“Death is the destination we all share, no one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be because death is very likely the single best invention of life.”

I understand. You just want to go to the end.

Here’s my personal philosophy on life:

Life should be like a science lab when you constantly try things again and again.

So, it’s a trial and error.

Society has always taught us that if we fail, we should be ridiculed and never try something again.

Pretty dumb right?

I completely understand, but know this…

You have ONE life.

So LIVE it.
