5 Quotes About Failure.

An animated character blows darts at a dartboard.
Keep going man.

Believe it or not, failure is more common than you think.

Let me ask you a question:

How do you feel when you hear the word failure?

A lot of people don’t realize this, but failure is very important if you want to be successful.

Isn’t that mind-blowing?

Matter of fact, almost all success stories came at the price of failure.

Let me tell you something…

It is simply the way you take failure.

If you take it as an excuse for you to feel sorry for yourself, then you will.

If you take it as a temporary setback and as a clear path that you’re on your way to achievement, then you will be well on your way.

Here are the 5 quotes about failure that might make you rethink the word failure:

  • ” There is no innovation and creativity without failure. Period.”

-Brene Brown

Thomas Edison tried over 10,000 times to create the light bulb.

Can you imagine how long it probably took?

Months, or even years.

Matter of fact, his most famous quote was:

” I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

  • ” Remember your dreams and fight for them. You must know what you want from life. There is just one thing that makes your dream impossible: the fear of failure.”

-Paulo Coelho

Everyone has a dream!

It’s just that not many people are willing to turn that dream into a reality.

And it’s all because of one major fear – the fear of failure.

When we think of failure, we think of a person who has accomplished absolutely nothing in life and just prefers to stay that way.

We think that if we try to go for that goal or dream, that if we fail, we would be one of those unlucky illusions we have in our minds.

Realize that you have to love failure in order to be successful.

  • ” The greatest glory in living lies not in never failing, but in rising every time we fail.”

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Successful people are usually the last ones standing.

When you want to go after a goal or dream, you have to develop courage and persistence because there are going to be times when things get tough.

Think of your dream or journey as a road trip…

If you’ve ever been on a long road trip, you know that your destination is not down a straight road…

No, there are going to be turns and stops along the way.

Be like a toddler, when you fall, get up!

  • ” We all learn lessons in life. Some stick, some don’t. I have always learned more from rejection and failure than from acceptance and success.”

-Henry Rollins

Use failure as a teacher.

Failure is literally telling you what you should do and shouldn’t do.

Thomas Edison could have easily given up, but instead he took those failures as lessons.

And after 10,000 times of learning from those lessons, he finally created the light bulb.

So, go out there and seek failure…

There are many ways, such as:

  1. Asking someone out
  2. Creating something(song, book, podcast)
  3. Applying for a job
  4. Applying for a school

And so much more!

When you seek failure, you realize that it’s not that bad.

You will then focus on what you can do in order to get a success.

Instead of asking why, you will ask:

What did I learn from this lesson?

And that’s the mentality you should have for failure.

  • ” Failure at some point in your life is inevitable, but giving up is unforgivable.”

-Joe Biden

Don’t let go of your dreams.

As I said earlier, failure happens.

But, that doesn’t mean that it’s the perfect time to give up.

Unfortunately, success has this tendency that it’s unpredictable.

You never know when you will live your dream.

It can either take you 10 years or 10 months, but with success you have to put the work in.

If you do give up, you’ll never know if you could have made your big break.

So, don’t you ever give up!

What time is it?

Art Supplies.

Find a way to fail.

If you don’t know how to find a way to fail, then review the examples I mentioned earlier in this blog post.

And if you’re brave enough, then maybe you can tell us how it went in the comments below….

Don’t forget: I’m watching you. 🙂

A tunnel.
Have tunnel vision.

We are all human, but there is one thing that separates us…

And that is the way we think.

It’s all about how we perceive things, if you perceive failure the way it should be perceived, congratulations and keep it up.

If you didn’t, then you will see for yourself.

It will happen one way or another.

” Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping-stone to greatness.”

-Oprah Winfrey
