” Challenge yourself, grow, blossom, and become who you were meant to be. Don’t ever stay at a job solely out of convenience or comfort. Aim higher, even if that means pursuing another job that’s just one step closer to your ultimate goal.”

-Carolyn Aronson

Like anything else, confidence is a skill.

If you don’t practice it consistently, it will for sure waver at times.

I have used all of these challenges and I hope you do too.

Here we go…

1. Approach Someone.

Yeah, it sounds scary to some of us!

I remember when I did this for the first time, my hands were shaking and I was just lingering around people.

So, don’t think I haven’t went through it.

This builds your confidence by telling your mind subconsciously that you’re brave.

By the way, being brave does NOT mean that you shouldn’t be scared, it means that even though you’re scared, you are still going to do that challenge.

Besides boosting confidence levels, approaching people can often lead to new relationships and experiences.

So… get STARTED!!!

2. Hi-five people

This increases your confidence by a long shot.

It’s because there are going to be people who are going to reject that hi-five in front of people, which might leave you quite uncomfortable.

But, that’s the point… to make you uncomfortable.

Despite doing this many times, I still get hesitant before I do this sometimes.

For this challenge, just realize that it will probably be more uncomfortable than the first one.

3. Dress Nice

We often hear this phrase a lot:

When we look good, we feel good!

That is so true!

We not only get plenty of complements, but when we check ourselves in the mirror, that’s when our confidence starts shining through.

I’m not saying that you should dress like you’re going to a wedding, I’m just saying that you should dress up , but don’t overdo it.

Conclusion.

A long street.

Don’t forget, confidence is a skill!

If you don’t constantly challenge and try to grow your confidence, then it’ll be either stagnant or it might just decrease.

Practice it each and every day because it will help you in the long run.

In job interviews, relationships, etc.

” When you have confidence, you can have a lot of fun. And when you have fun, you can do amazing things.”

-Joe Namath

Confidence is realizing that YOU are AWESOME!!!
